We have obtained the prestigious award of The Football Association Charter Standard for Adult Clubs. This recognition shows that Hale End has met a number of key measures that reflect high standards in organisation, administration and equity.

Hale End was founded in 1928 and has been involved in local football for over eighty five years. We are affiliated to the Essex County Football Association and the Amateur Football Alliance, competing in the Amateur Football Combination (seniors) and The Essex Veterans League.

Hale End are based at Wadham Lodge Sports Ground, Walthamstow, London E17 and run five good quality teams, with ages starting from sixteen upwards. We also run a veterans team for the young at heart starting at 35, with our current registered oldest player at 59.

We produce a weekly newsletter with the club match reports, fixtures, results, top goalscorers and other stats that is sent out around the world to ex and current members. All members of the management committee are volunteers and the club is run on a non-profit making basis.
